Breaded chicken strips

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) mayonnaise
  • 1 cup (250 ml) crushed soda crackers
  • 1/2 tsp. (2 ml) garlic powder
  1. Depending on the number of people to feed, slice at least 4 uncooked chicken breasts (fresh or thawed) into strips 1” wide. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Put the chicken in a bowl, then add ½ to ¾ cup of mayonnaise (depending on the amount of chicken) and coat the strips well.
  3. In another bowl, combine some soda crackers crushed to powder and ½ tsp. of garlic powder. Add the chicken strips and coat them well.
  4. Place the breaded strips on a baking sheet covered with aluminum foil and bake at 375°F for about 20 minutes, until the chicken is thoroughly cooked and golden brown on the outside.
  5. Serve with salad and potatoes.
